Atlantis, Bahamas. This is one of our favorite resorts because of the variety of activities they have for everyone. Atlantis has water slides, beautiful beaches and yes, a casino for the adults. Be sure to stop by the Paradise Blue Surf Shop for some cool Mermaid Life® gear! Outside of the Atlantis Resort are lovely shops and local restaurants. 3) Looking for a surfers paradise? Take a look at the gorgeous California beaches. There are so many scenic places to catch a California sunset or a dinner along the coast. Here are a couple of great spots...
Laguna Beach offers not only a mild climate year round, but there are many things to do after a day of ripping waves. Laguna has lots of quaint cafes and bistros, tons of art galleries and shopping. You might even want to catch a yoga class at a local studio. If you are a boater, there a place for you too. You can dock your boat at any of the Harborside Marinas just north of Laguna.
Huntington Beach has a unique surf culture. Not only is there surfing, Huntington Beach has top Marinas for boaters, amazing seafood restaurants ad plenty of activities for the entire family. We love anything dog friendly, and Huntington Beach has dog friendly beaches as well as restaurants.
Head north to Santa Barbara where you walk along Stearns Wharf, watch children jump into the water. and grab a milkshake at McConnell's. The Santa Barbara Zoo is home to elephants and giraffes worth seeing. You might even see a star like Oprah as this is one of her home towns. Sip a glass of wine in the evening at an elegant seaside restaurant along the coast.
